Georgian Media Education Program

In partnership with the Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia, WorldChicago is hosting a participant-driven, two-way media and journalism faculty development exchange program for Georgian and U.S. professors that will directly address current challenges Georgian professors face in the classroom.

In 2021, WorldChicago will host a participant-driven, two-way media and journalism faculty development exchange program between Georgian and U.S. professors. This program, in partnership with the Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia, will directly address current challenges Georgian professors face in the classroom.

WorldChicago, with our prestigious partners from the Chicago media ecosystem, will introduce best practices in teaching journalism and media and apply them to a Georgian context, sparking systemic improvement in Georgian media instruction.

WorldChicago will empower these esteemed visitors to collaborate on methods and strategies that will strengthen journalism education through collective action.
